Stories published on Recruiting Is Hell are personal accounts submitted by individuals. They reflect individual experiences and are not presented as verified findings about a company’s general practices. We moderate submissions to remove personal data, doxxing, threats, and unsupported allegations.
Moderation policy
Every submission is reviewed before publication. We do not publish: personal names of recruiters or hiring managers; private emails or phone numbers; unredacted documents or screenshots; unsubstantiated criminal accusations; doxxing; insults or threats; medical data that could identify an individual. Company names may be published when the story is factual, in the first person, and free of insults. Sensitive stories are anonymised by default.
Privacy policy
We collect only the data you voluntarily submit through our form. Email addresses, when provided, are used solely to contact you about your submission. We do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing. We store submissions securely and delete them upon request. This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand site traffic.
Removal and correction requests
If you submitted a story and want it removed or corrected, or if you are mentioned in a published story and believe it contains inaccurate information, contact us. We respond to all removal requests within 72 hours.
